THANK YOU BAY PARK ELEMENTARY!

Dear Bay Park Community,

I would like to extend a wholehearted thank you for an amazing school year! The Bay Park Elementary community of students, families, and staff welcomed me as your Associate Principal with open arms. This year has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to serve this wonderful community.

Due to the current and projected student enrollment being lower than the minimum to qualify for a part-time Associate Principal, I unfortunately, will not be returning for the 24-25 school year. Bay Park Elementary is a truly special school with teachers who are extremely knowledgeable and experienced. They find the most beautiful balance of learning and fun, creating inclusive classroom environments that support all of our learners. The students are excited to come to school every day, with most smiling and running onto campus each day. Each time I visit classrooms, students are eager to share their learning with me and even invite me to participate with them. The families of Bay Park are truly incredible, with such high parent and family involvement both in and out of the classroom. Between the active PTA and parent volunteers on campus each and every day, everything is being done to support student learning and joy at school. I have enjoyed our partnership this year and will miss not being a BPE Stingray next year, but once a Stingray, always a Stingray!

Thank you once again for an incredible year.

Warmest regards,

Katie Mead

Associate Principal
